Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London 2016 Spring Series presents Bath Camerata with this delightful programme of choral music on the theme of love. The centrepiece will be Brahms's Liebeslieder Waltzes, 18 short movements each exploring an aspect of love, and featuring some magnificent writing for the choir and the two pianists. With the addition of some other choral classics, including a favourite from West Side Story, a hilarious madrigal and three gorgeous Shakespeare Songs by blind jazz musician George Shearing, this is surely set to be a evening to enjoy and remember!

This concert will last approximately one hour without an interval.

A combined ticket offer is available for this performance and the later concert at St Martin's. Please contact the box office for details.
