UK based chamber orchestra London Concertante regularly performs up to and over one hundred concerts per year, making it the busiest ensemble of its kind in the country. With their numerous recordings reaching great critical acclaim, the ensemble has continually been regarded as one of the finest groups in Europe since its founding in 1991.   In January 2019 the ensemble will take us on a journey through the enthralling concerti of Mozart, Albinoni, and Bach. From the immeasurably moving opening of Bach’s ‘Violin Concerto in A’, to Mozart’s graceful - yet intricate - ‘Oboe Quartet in F’, the night will be full of glistening melodies and delightful musical interplay. Opening with Mozart’s short, but energetic, ‘Divertimento in D’ and culminating with the joyful ‘Concerto for Violin and Oboe’ by J.S.Bach, this is one concert you do not want to miss!   If you don’t consider yourself ‘in the know’ about Mozart, Beethoven, or Bach, fear not. The ensemble boasts an audience record in which an impressive 50% of spectators are first-time classical concert goers!
