Enjoy the eleventh concert in this exceptional new series of chamber music in the beautiful candlelit venue of St Mary le Strand. A unique opportunity to experience some of the UK's leading chamber music artists, the series will cover a broad spectrum of repertoire from ensemble works by Beethoven, Ravel and Debussy to exquisite early vocal works by John Mundy, John Dowland and William Byrd along with 20th Century works for Saxophone quartet. St Mary le Strand is a stunning and intimate venue, the perfect setting for this musical experience. There are also many bars and restaurants nearby to complete your evening.
Scottish Violinist Daniel Stroud is a fourth-year violin scholar at the Royal Academy of Music. He has given numerous recitals around the UK, led the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland in 2019 and recently won 2nd Prize for the prestigious Winifred Small Solo Violin Competition at the Academy.
Chinese pianist Hanzhi Zhang is a concert pianist, chamber musician, arranger and recording artist. Having studied at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing as well as the Royal Academy of Music, she graduated from both institutions with distinction.
