Programme Note
Cellist Jessie Ann Richardson is rapidly establishing herself as both a soloist and chamber musician around the UK and Europe, having thrilled audiences with her virtuoso and sensitive musicianship. She made her London Purcell Room Debut in January 2011. She currently plays a Celoniatus Cello made in Turin in 1741, kindly lent to her by anonymous donors.
Simon Callaghan is Head of Piano at the Ingenium Music Academy (Winchester), a member of the faculty at Harrow School, and has given masterclasses around the world, most recently in Malaysia and Thailand.
