Programme Note

A rare opportunity to hear the virtuosic and fiendishly challenging piano repertoire of Lennox Berkeley alongside the music of Chopin and Poulenc, two composers who shaped his unique sound world, performed by University of Bristol alumnus, Dr Douglas Stevens. The concert will feature the CD launch of Berkeley’s complete piano works, recorded by Stevens earlier this year.
