Programme Note

Vox Anima London is delighted to present an evening of music by Paul Mealor and his proteges, featuring outstanding a cappella group Apollo5.

Renowned composer Paul Mealor is the Composer-in-Residence with Vox Anima London for this wonderful evening of choral music. Three of Paul's proteges - Joanna Gill, Henrik Dahlgren and John F Hudson will have their music performed by the Ozark Festival Singers under the baton of Lorissa Mason.

Just back from a tour of Germany, Apollo5 will perform a set of a cappella songs in their inimitable style and flair! The concert will culminate in the Ozark Festival Singers joining Apollo5 on stage to perform Paul Mealor's Ubi Caritas - the piece composed for TRHs the Prince and Princess of Wales for their wedding ceremony. The combined choirs will close the evening performing the World Premiere of Paul Mealor's Three Things - a work commissioned specifically for this event.
