Programme Note

A finale of light and love for the closing concert of Vox Anima London's 2023 season in the magnificent setting of Southwark Cathedral.

Vox Anima London welcomes back Composer-in-Residence Dan Forrest for a performance of LUX: The Dawn From On High for mixed voice choir. Dr Michael Lancaster leads a truly international choir of singers from Australia, Europe, the UK and the USA.

Composer Elaine Hagenberg joins Vox Anima London for the first time as Composer-in-Residence. Randy Jordan, who conducted the World Premiere of Illuminare in September 2021, is the guest conductor for this London Premiere of Illuminare.
