Programme Note

A sea of voices and instrumentalists, under the batons of inspirational conductors, celebrates the music of black American Composers.

Vox Anima London is thrilled to present the first concert of its 2023 series which features and celebrates music of Black American Composers. The programme culminates with a choir of more than 150 voices singing renowned composer Rosephanye Powell's work - The Cry of Jeremiah, conducted by William Powell.

Internationally acclaimed pianist, conductor and composer, Brandon Boyd is featured this evening. Brandon is familiar with the London concert halls having recently performed with the London Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican.
