Part of the Ronnie Scott's Classical 2026 Series

Add to my Calendar 22-06-2026 18:15 22-06-2026 20:15 36 Symphonic Sounds: From Baroque to Bill Evans with Ronnie Scott's Classical All Stars Following the sold-out success of our much-loved new in-house classical nights, Symphonic Sounds returns for a second chapter. In Part 1, James Pearson achieved the near-impossible: distilling Rachmaninov’s Second Piano Concerto for just eight players, to widespread acclaim. Now, he’s joined by the ever-brilliant Lizzie Ball and an all-star ensemble for a journey that bridges centuries of musical brilliance, from the elegance of the Baroque to the smoky lyricism of jazz.   Expect a vibrant programme of enduring favourites and inspired reinterpretations. Highlights include movements from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, the intricate beauty of Bach’s Double Violin Concerto, and Mozart’s sublime Sinfonia Concertante, featuring Lizzie Ball alongside Megan Cassidy. The evening takes a distinctive turn with a rare and exclusive exploration of Bill Evans Trio with Symphony Orchestra - one of the jazz great's few ventures into the classical world - brought to life with the expressive depth of bassist Misha Mullov-Abbado. Selections include Granados and Time Remembered, reimagined with orchestral colour and intimacy. Ronnie Scott's, London DD/MM/YYYY
