Add to my Calendar 07-07-2018 19:30 07-07-2018 21:30 36 Exeter Symphony Orchestra Summer Concert Our recent summer concerts have featured a fine mixture of English music; familiar incidental/film music, and some colourful and varied music for visiting soloists. This July is no exception, and with the 100th anniversary of the RAF this April 633 Squadron seemed very appropriate, along with Where Eagles Dare. The ever popular Guitar Concerto by Rodrigo is performed by local soloist Andreas Moutsioulis, and a young student from Exeter, Nina Leonard, now at Wells Cathedral school will play the exquisite Piano Eclogue by Finzi. Cap this all off with a set of Eastern dances by a member of the orchestra, and the fine Cotswold Symphony by Gustav Holst, what more could you want?
