Tonight’s programme includes a wonderful selection from the second of these recordings, The Path of Life. A wide range of songs invoke the composer’s philosophical approach to life, where happiness is often tinged with a tear but sadness is never reduced to self pity. All evening concerts this year are performed twice, at 5.30pm and 8.15pm. This 8.15pm performance is a repeat performance of Event 73. This performance will be in-person and livestreamed. Enjoy the whole festival live online for £165 with a Digital Festival Pass. All events will be available on demand after broadcast until 30th November, so you can catch up at a time which suits you.
