He gives today’s second world premiere of a work by composer Tom Coult, his Gymnopédies, written during the 2020 lockdown. Adam also plays Tom Coult’s dazzling Inventions. To complete the programme he performs a new piece by Manchester-based American composer Kevin Malone; his Sudden Memorials, a commemorative work to mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11 that will be premiered at Wigmore Hall on 9 September this year.
