Programme Note
'An Exquisite Harmony' tells the story of the lives or Clara and Robert Schumann.
The recital partnership betwee Cristopher Kent and Gamal Khamis started in 2016 with 'Never Such Innocense', and they have since continued to work together on projects such as 'Oddesey - Words and Music Finding Home' in 2019 and 'Enoch Arden' by Strauss/Tennyson in 2020. They have been recorded as a critically acclaimed CD/streaming release by SOMM Recordings.
Christopher Kent has worked on screen, radio and stage from contemporary roles to Shakespeare. Most recently he appeared as Bob Price in 'Things I Know To Be True' at OSO Barnes.
Sarah Shelbourne has appeared extensively on TV, including Birds of a feather, House of Elliot and 'Allo 'Allo. She has also performed at Derby, Nottingham and Colchester and is also known for narrating audiobooks and documentaries.
