Programme Note
American pianist Edward Leung studied at Princeton University and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. As well as giving masterclasses internationally, he is faculty at the Menuhin School where he teaches chamber music and is the staff pianist. He has previously also taught at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and at the Westminster School. He has been awarded 2025-2027 Making Music Recommended Artist and is a Bösendorfer-Amadeus Young Artist. Recently he was also named a Rising Star of the 2025 Edinburgh International Festival.
