Programme Note
Quatuor Van Kuijk will be performing a movement from each string quartet.
Quatuor Van Kuijk are a highly acclaimed string quartet, having won many awards including the First Best Beethoven and Best Haydn Prizes in the 2015 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition. They were also the BBC New Generation Artists from 2015-2017, and have recorded Mozart, Debussy, Ravel and Schubert. They have performed in many prestigious venues including Wigmore Hall, Theatre de Champs-Elysees and the Auditorium du Louvre, and have upcoming tours in Carnegie Hall (New York City), Sydney Opera House and SHanghai Symphony Hall.
