Programme Note

The second of this evening's concerts in the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London welcomes back The Ariel Consort, conducted by Douglas Lee. This hour-long concert features masterpieces for choir from Germany and Austria, including Bach's intricate motet for double choir, Singet dem Herrn, and a rare performance of Brahms' Four Songs for female chorus and harp. The Consort will also perform contemplative motets by Bruckner and four motets from Mendelssohn's celebration of the church year.
