Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London welcomes back the fabulous Chapel Choir of Worcester College Oxford, and its conductor Thomas Allery. In the first half they explore the Romantic German Choral Tradition of the 19th Century, with motets by Bruckner, Brahms and Rheinberger, with some serene organ works by Mendelssohn and Brahms providing moments of repose. The second half features music for compline and the end of the day, with traditional plainsong, and works by Tallis, White and Weelkes.
