This hour-long concert celebrates some of the great works for a cappella choir of the last 500 years, with Allegri's heart-stopping Miserere as the centrepieces. The programme also features several masterpieces of the great English choral tradition by Howells, Parry, Stanford and Wood, as well as less frequently heard works such as E. W.
