Five movements of Byrd's Mass for Four Voices open and close the concert, which also includes motets by Gibbons, Weelkes and twentieth-century English composer, Edmund Rubbra. Violinist Eulalie Charland joins the choir for Nystedt's Ave Maria, and a short chorale prelude by Timothy Salter on J.S. Bach's Es ist genug, as well as providing some instrumental interludes.
