Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London welcomes back the Choir of Kings College London for its annual performance of Thomas Tallis's remarkable 40-part motet Spem in alium. Also in the programme, the exuberant Credo-Messe by Mozart, the catchy Five Spirituals arranged by Michael Tippett as part of his oratorio A Child of our Time, and Kenneth Leighton's Mass for Double Choir and Organ, which the choir will record later this year. Joseph Fort conducts, with accompaniment provided by organ scholar James Orford.
