Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London returns to the beautiful and intimate surroundings of the Grange Wellington Hotel for this very special concert featuring Eboracum Baroque. This versatile group of singers and instrumentalists present a feast of Baroque music for solo voices and instruments, including arias from Bach's St Matthew Passion and Christmas Oratorio, and Handel's MessiahAlcina and Xerxes, and Purcell's The Indian Queen and King Arthur, and sonatas for recorder and trumpet by Handel, Purcell and Sammartini.
