Programme Note
The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London is delighted to welcome inspirational Citi Choir to the 2017 Autumn Series. This work-place choir established by Gareth Malone in 2013 has grown in size and reputation since reaching the final of BBC programme, Sing While You Work, performing for clients, dignitaries, events and celebrations in London and further afield, and winning the prestigious Music in Offices competition last year. Under the direction of Dan Ludford-Thomas and assistant Peter Mitchell, Citi Choir will perform a real variety of works, ranging from traditional spirituals and folk songs to pop songs made famous by Annie Lennox, Adele and Billy Joel, amongst others. They will also perform contemporary choral works by Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo and Will Todd. Please join us for this uplifting programme sung by a fantastic choir.
