In the first half Andrew Mackay conducts the choir in Brahms's beautiful Festival and Commemoration Sentences, scored for a cappella double chorus. In the second half they will be joined by the festival's Associate Conductor, Edward Reeve, who demonstrates his versatiliy as the accompanist for Brahms's much-loved German Requiem, in his own new reduction for solo piano.
