Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London welcomes The Farrant Singers from Salisbury to the 2017 Spring Series. In the first half Andrew Mackay conducts the choir in Brahms's beautiful Festival and Commemoration Sentences, scored for a cappella double chorus. In the second half they will be joined by the festival's Associate Conductor, Edward Reeve, who demonstrates his versatiliy as the accompanist for Brahms's much-loved German Requiem, in his own new reduction for solo piano.
