Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London is thrilled to welcome the brilliant Chandos Chamber Choir to the 2017 Spring Series. This early-evening concert explores a cappella repertoire ancient and more modern, with Renaissance polyphony by Palestrina and Tallis, a contemporary work by Jonathan Harvey and the beautiful transcription of Barber's Adagio for strings for choir to the latin text of Agnus Dei, as well as motets by Duruflé and Spirituals by Sir Michael Tippett.

This concert will last approximately one hour without an interval.

Please note a combined ticket offer is available for this concert and the later concert at St Sepulchre's. Please contact the box office for more details.
