Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London welcomes the University of Reading Chamber Choir for this sumptuous programme of French choral music, songs and arias. In the first half Joanna Tomlinson will conduct four choral works including Fauré's much-loved Cantique de Jean Racine. In between soloists from the choir will perform songs and arias by Fauré, Debussy and Gluck accompanied on the piano by Susan Holmes. The second half will feature Duruflé's beautiful Requiem with organ and cello accompaniment.
