Programme Note

We welcome this new and exciting chamber choir from Manchester, the Northern Cantate, conducted by James Kealey and with organ accompaniment from Benjamin Cunningham. The first half will explore works written by some of Britain's wartime composers, Howells, Stanford, Parry and Ireland. The second half will consist of Fauré's beautiful Requiem.
