This remarkable work of almost symphonic proportions transports listeners to a different world, that of the Russian Orthodox Church with its legendary low bass voices and melodies based on traditional chant, and this performance is sure to be all the more atmospheric when sung by beautiful candlelight. This concert will last approximately one hour without an interval. A reduced price combined ticket is availble for this concert and the earlier concert at St Martin's.
