Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London 2017 Spring Series welcomes The Iken Scholars for their festival debut. This up-and-coming group of young professionals was formed in 2014 to explore the rich variety of the Renaissance, including less well-known works from the era. The concert will include performances of old favourites such as Byrd's Ave Verum Corpus, Tallis's If Ye Love Me and Gibbons's O Clap Your Hands, alongside rarer works such as Sheppard's Gaude Maria and White's expansive Magnificat. Matthew Dunn directs.
