Rheinberger's serene Abendlied will be heard alongside Romantic choral songs by Brahms and Wolf, and there will be a rare opportunity to hear three seldom-performed songs by Coleridge-Taylor and Warlock. There will also be a contemporary strand to the programme with music by Alan Bullard and the choir's conductor, Timothy Salter.
