Programme Note

The Brandenburg Choral Festival welcomes back the brilliant Vivamus Choir and its conductor Rufus Frowde to the 2017 Spring Series. They present this innovative programme with a decidedly Swiss theme to match the surroundings of the beautiful Swiss Church. The concert will feature Frank Martin’s Mass for Double Choir, and two a cappella works by Carl Rütti, and two dramatic works for solo organ by Guy Bovet. The programme will also include Fauré’s serene Cantique de Jean Racine and Simon Peberdy’s arrangement of Bach’s Organ Concerto No. 2 for piano duet.
